Obituary of Hank Laird

Henry “Hank” Laird, 83-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born February 6, 1940, in Elsberry, MO, to the late Henry Harrison and Ludy (Slaughter) Laird.

Hank was a handy man and had a tender place in his heart for animals. Hank was an active member of the American Legion.

Hank was married to Linda Sue Belcher. She preceded him in death on July 25, 2013. He was also preceded by a stepdaughter, Tracy Larmore.

Surviving is a stepson, Bryan Larmore of Orlando, FL; nephew, Darrell (Tina) Gettings; and a friend and caregiver, Tom Decker.

Visitation will be held at in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, beginning at noon, with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Shirley Cemetery.
