Obituary of Sandra Ellen McCollumn

Sandra Ellen McCollumn, 79, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Thursday, October 12, 2023. She was born October 30, 1943, to the late Arlet and Ella (Barber) Stokes.

Sandra had worked for Vitronic for over 40 years, seeing many changes in the production process and making friends with coworkers. She enjoyed playing Bingo, square dancing and watching Westerns.

On November 18, 1961, Sandra married Bobby “Bob” McCollumn Sr. in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2015. She was also preceded by sisters, Louise Roustio and Arvella Gendron; and brothers, Carol D. Stokes and Richard Stokes; and a grandson, Jeffrey Harp.

Surviving are her children, Cindy Bowden of Poplar Bluff, MO, Bob (Teresa) McCollumn, Jr. of Doniphan, Tammy Spease of Poplar Bluff, and Latisha Ausmus of Doniphan; a sister, Bonnie Wagner of St. Louis; brothers, James Harper of Mississippi, Jerry Stokes of St. Louis, and Dwight Stokes of IL; along with 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral services will be on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., also at Edwards Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, at Richmann Chapel, in Shook, MO.
