My cousin Ralph always greeted me with a smile and a "Hi Sweetie!" He also genuinely always wanted to know how I was. There was a time when we were young that he and Shirley and I wrote letters to each other nearly every day. We often lived far apart But always felt like we were raised Right next door to each other. When we saw each other it was as though we had never parted. He was a very generous caring person and our big protector! He was also very talented. He could carry the hod, lay the brick, hang the drywall, finish the drywall (quite ornately I might add), build a house... just about anything you needed done. Not to mention that he loved to laugh and make you laugh with him! Over a game of cards or next to a roaring fire. Showing and sharing his produce from his garden or teaching you to garden or hunt ginseng or mushrooms. If you knew him you are blessed.
I loved him and he loved me. I hope you dance in the presence of Jesus for eternity and your reward far exceeds the legacy of love and generosity you've left behind cuz. You will be greatly missed. Till we meet in the air, your cousin Janet ❤️

I will always cherish the time I spent with Ralph when we were teenagers. He taught me how to find ginseng and we took nearly a whole summer hunting and always had gas and food it was great. He was twice my size and we were wrestling (I started it) and he just fell on me and broke my leg, he felt so bad, but I had no hard feelings at all. I loved Ralph, may God bless you forever cuz.

My memories come from when we were kids and teenagers and we were always laughing about everything. Ralph used to repeat everything I said to him for days and one line of mine in particular. I used to make up words just to be funny and I said" hey Ralph , let's go get some pissa" . Well we laughed til we fell over on that and everytime Ralph came over he would say Hey Sissy, let's go get ....." I take the greatest comfort right now knowing Ralph is in heaven surrounded by loved ones and I know Grandma Miller has him in her arms! Oh how she loved her Grandkids! Ralph, I didn't remember your we're named Eugene after our Dad that is truly an honor to see! I will be there to make you laugh again in a few blinks Cousin!

All my memories of Ralph were always good, whether it was him greeting me saying "hey little buddy" after not seeing him for some time, and him always having a mountain dew to offer. (or a knuckle sandwich instead) Ralph was definitely a man of character that people aren't like anymore. If more people were like Ralph the world would definitely be a better place. A gentle giant who's selflessness and actions spoke volume. RIP to a great man of stature and love. Gone but not forgotten.

Ralph was a man of hospitality. You never left his place hungry or thirsty. He never met a stranger that he did not make them feel welcome. He love to gardening and give friends and family his produce. He was a very giving man to the point if he had to he would give the shirt off of his back. Ralph thought he was a nobody but everybody loved him. He was a some body to me a brother whom I will miss very much. Love you Ralph ❤️

Ralph was the best brother ever. He was caring, giving, full of good humor, and good to everyone. He had a big heart. It was an honor to be his sister. Oh, how I will miss him but when this life is over we shall meet again never to part again.
