Obituary of Danny Hinton

Daniel “Danny” Jay Hinton, 58-year-old resident of Wappapello, MO departed this life Monday, May 29, 2023, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born October 13, 1964, in Doniphan, MO, to Mary (Anglin) Asher of Doniphan and the late Jake Hinton.

Danny was hardworking and had continued his family’s heritage in sanitation and waste management. He was kind and a friend to many. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and most of all being with his family.

On April 2, 2010, Danny married Virginia Buckhanan in Puxico, MO. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Daniel N. Hinton of Columbia, MO, Nicole E. Hinton of Briar, MO, Alexandria Mansfield of Milton, FL, and Kelsie Mansfield of Bloomfield, MO; his sisters, Gwen Dale and Rebecca Hinton, both of Doniphan; brothers, Keith Hinton of Arkansas and Brian Hinton of Gatewood, MO; and his grandchildren, Braden, Kaylee, Zane, Bently, Lexsi, John, Jacob, and Rubi.

Danny was preceded in death by a brother, David Hinton, and his stepfather, Gayle Asher.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
