Please share a memory of Almarie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Alma Marie (Almarie) Reynolds, 85, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was born February 11, 1938, in Chandler, AZ, to the late John W. and H. Alma (Leonard) Daniels.

A retired Methodist minister, Almarie loved God and taught her children to learn Bible verses, to sing, and to worship God. She enjoyed music and singing with her various choirs throughout her youth and her ministry, as well as playing the violin and mandolin. Almarie was known for her beautiful crochet work including nativity scenes and angels. She enjoyed embroidery and quilting and had a “green thumb” for growing flowers and vegetables and preserving the fruits from her trees and gardens.

On June 15, 1956, Almarie married Jerry H. Reynolds in Desoto, MO. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2020. She was also preceded by two sons, Michael E. Reynolds, U.S. Navy, and Larry L. Reynolds, U.S. Navy, Ret.; her sisters, Margie Yeley, Ramona Laughlin, Mary Alice Toothaker, and Colleen Daniels; and her brothers, Melvin Daniels and James Daniels.

Surviving are her children, Linda Reynolds of Doniphan, Mark and Karen Reynolds of Brighton, TN, and Keith and Tracy Reynolds of Pendleton, IN; daughters-in-law, Robyn Reynolds of St. Charles, MO and Kathy Paxton of Hannibal, MO; along with 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Almarie was a most beloved mother and friend to many. The family plans a memorial service in the near future for both Jerry and Almarie, who will be sorely missed.
