Michael Barton Payne, Sr., 51 year old resident of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, February 2, 2012, in Ripley County, Missouri.
Mr. Payne was born August 30, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Carl Barton and Shirley Marie Jones Payne. He served in the United States Air Force and loved to draw, play guitar, and fish. He was a certified welder and did auto-body work and was a mechanic.
He is survived by his parents, Carl and Shirley Payne of Doniphan; one son, Michael Payne, Jr.; one brother, Steven Payne of Corning, Arkansas; and one granddaughter, Nicole Marie Payne.
A memorial service for Mr. Payne will be announced at a later date.
