Obituary of Mark Glenn Dodd

Mark Glenn Dodd, 66, departed this life November 22, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO. He was born September 26, 1956, in St. Louis, MO to the late Buford Ray and Dorothy Mae Heckmann Dodd.

Mark loved his time of service in the United States Air Force and was Load Master for C17s. He was honorably discharged from the military due to his health. In later years, Mark enjoyed listening to music, especially rock.

Surviving are his siblings, Phyllis Estes of Naples, FL, Dwaine Dodd of Charleston, SC, and Scott Dodd of Florissant, MO; nephews and nieces, Patrick (Michelle) Estes of Florida, Amy (Kevin) Gaffney of Florida, Michael Dodd of Las Vegas, Michelle Dodd of Florissant, MO, and Crystal (Cody) Wilson of St. Ann; great-nieces, Heather, Isadore, Jubilee, and Peghan Dodd and Riley and Ember Wilson; and cousins, Sondra (Joseph) Scalise, Shawna Bishop, Aaron Kiker, and Ross Kiker.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray Charles and Ollie Mae (Elmore) Dodd, and a great-niece, Alijah Dodd.

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Doniphan City Cemetery with full military honors.
