Obituary of Gracelynn Nichole Walker

Gracelynn Nichole Walker, three-month-old daughter of Cody Lee Walker and Emily Ann Mayberry departed this life on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She was born November 10, 2022, in St. Louis, MO.

In her short life, Gracelynn’s personality shone through. She was feisty and fierce and a fighter. In the hospital she was known as “Superstar”, “Drama Queen”, “Princess Warrior”, and “Bug”. In her short time on earth, she touched a lot of hearts.

Gracelynn leaves behind her doting parents; her siblings, Jaysa Moore, Carter Walker, and Tucker Walker; loving grandparents, Amanda Mayberry and Doyl Starkey of Bismark, MO, Debra Brawner of Doniphan, and Eric Walker, also of Doniphan; great-grandparents, Mary Reando of Alabama and Richard Byrd, also of Alabama; and Godparents, Bo and Melinda Dasch of Oxly, MO; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, especially her dear aunts and uncles, Haily and Michael Walker of Doniphan, Haley Woods of Bismark, and Taylor Drowns of Bismark.

Gracelynn was preceded by two grandfathers, Kevin Lee Tucker and Christopher Chad Bailey, and twin sister, Ziva.

Visitation will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 11, 2023, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Brother Justin Woodworth will be officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
