Obituary of Linda Carol Gowen

Linda Carol Gowen, 75, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Wednesday, February 1, 2023. She was born May 22, 1947, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to Loyd and Bette Anderson.

 

Linda had worked in the secretarial field. She was talented in arts and crafts and enjoyed crocheting, writing, and painting. She found pleasure in sitting and relaxing with a good book. Linda also had a green thumb and could grow a variety of beautiful plants. She had a deep appreciation of beauty and awe-inspiring nature.

 

Surviving are her children, Staci Gowen of Doniphan, Steven Gowen of Bloomfield, MO, and Lori Gowen of Dudley; a brother, Larry Anderson; her grandchildren, Jessica Gowen, Mercedes Gowen, Billy Gowen, Aaron Kirby, and Marlee Kirby; and great-grandchildren, Kairi Cochran and Roxas Cochran.

 

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
