Obituary of Lonnie C. Hern

Lonnie C. Hern, 75, of Fairdealing, MO, departed this life Friday, June 10, 2022. He was born July 11, 1946, in Vallejo, CA to the late Kenneth and Laverne (Worrell) Hern.

 

Lonnie was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, duck hunting with Molly his bird dog, and even mowing the lawn with his riding mower. His dogs were special to him. Lonnie also enjoyed working on puzzles. He liked traveling and drove big rigs for many years. Lonnie had also been a treatment plant operator.

 

On February 25, 1968, Lonnie married Katherine Tate in Reno NV. She survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Denise Hern of Billings, MT and Cyndi Hern of Fairdealing; his grandchildren, Merissa Cox of Joliet, MT, Katrina Hoots of Billings, MT, Brittney Cox of Daytona Beach, FL, Austin Hern of Minot ND, and Harley Hern, Kelli Brown, and Jessica Hern, all of Fairdealing; and 13 great-grandchildren.

 

Lonnie was preceded in death by his brother Gary Hern.
