Obituary of Timothy Joseph Bowers

Timothy Joseph Bowers, 62, of Doniphan, MO, passed away May 20, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. 

He was born February 14, 1960, in Toledo, OH, to the late Dale Thomas and Barbara (Jackson) Bowers.  He was a United States Navy Veteran.

In 1980 he married Suzette Welch. She preceded him in death. 

Bowers enjoyed playing bingo, the guitar and piano, playing cards, and cheating at chess, Pepsi, and hot sauce. 

He is survived by brother, David Bowers of Little Rock AR; three sisters, Tracy Wilder of Doniphan, Jana Sasse of Findlay, OH, and Wendy Weekly of Spokane, WA; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dale Thomas Bowers Jr.

Visitation will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 28, 2022, from noon until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral at 2.m. Burial will be at Pulaski Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Timothy J. Bowers to the Missouri Veterans Home, 2400 Veterans Memorial Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO  63701.
