Obituary of Lila Marie Cline

Lila Marie Cline, 83-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, May 9, 2022. She was born January 23, 1939, in East St. Louis, IL, to the late Daniel and Lila (Campbell) Mousette.

 

Lila was a compassionate caregiver with in-home health. She attended Victory Christian Fellowship and was devoted to reading her Bible. Lila enjoyed working puzzles, especially word finds, and playing cards.

 

In 1960, Lila married Carl Wayne Cline in Collinsville, IL. He preceded her in death on November 28, 1992. She was also preceded by a brother, Daniel Mousette.

 

Surviving are her children, Teresa McCollumn, Tina Hastings, and Wayne Cline all of Doniphan, and Cheryl Coward of Clinton, MO; her sister, Mary Prather; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022 with burial following in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
