Sammie William Williams, 87-year-old lifelong resident of Bardley, MO, departed this life Tuesday, May 3, 2022. He was born September 17, 1934 in Bardley to the late Odie and Eva Tipton Williams.
Sammie was a sawmiller. He loved being outside and working on his farm. He was an articulate storyteller and enjoyed whittling.
Surviving are his children, Leroy (Tobie) Williams of Bardley and Christina Lee of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, Clarence Williams of Bardley; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Christina Putman.
Sammie was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence and Sanford Williams.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bardley Cemetery.
