Obituary of Renee' Spencer Holmes
Renee’, daughter of Pat Aldridge, was born April 13, 1968, in St. Charles, MO. She had been employed by Beacon Tire in Russellville, AR as an accounts receivable clerk. Previously, Renee’ had worked as a receptionist in medical clinics in Hot Springs and Clarksville, AR. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and being with her friends, but she especially delighted in following the Arkansas Razorbacks. While living in Doniphan, MO, Renee’ was a family advocate for Ripley County Head Start. She helped families with resources and building connections within the family between parents and their children. She absolutely loved working with families. Renee’ also assisted with the children’s ministry at the First Baptist Church, of which she was a member. She specially enjoyed greeting and serving the community at the church Wild Game dinners.
On April 15, 2017, she married Allen Holmes in Dardenelle, AR. He survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Taylor Woodall of Bismark, AR; a special nephew, Heath Stoutt of Cuba, MO; her mother, Pat Aldridge of Donphan, MO; two stepdaughters, Brittany Reames (Colton) of Ozark, AR and Lindsay Washburn of Van Buren, AR; and seven grandchildren, Jaden Watson of Bismark AR, Jaydnn, Olivia, Lane, and Riley Reames of Ozark, AR, and Alijah and Zaiden Washburn of Van Buren, AR.
Renee’ was preceded in death by one sister, Jackie Stoutt, and her grandfather, Jack Spencer.
An informal Celebration of Life will be held at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, MO on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Stories and memories of Renee’ are asked to be shared at the service.
