Tressie Bee Haven, 86, of Florissant, Missouri, died Saturday, August 11, 2007, at the Bent-Wood Nursing Center in Florissant. She was formerly of Doniphan.
Mrs. Haven, daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Townley and Martha Virginia Wilson Townley, was born June 6, 1921, in Alabama. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed going to church.
On September 19, 1942, she was married to Nelson Haven at Kennett, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1985.
Surviving is one daughter, Phyllis Creedon of Florrisant, Missouri; one son, William Nelson Haven of Corsicana, Texas; one brother, A.J. Townley of Sparta, Illinois; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Allen Haven and seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 14, 2007, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Jared Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
