Myrtle A. Brown, 78, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, January 7, 2011, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Brown was born September 2, 1932, in Belvedere, Illinois. She had worked in healthcare and attended Current River Baptist Church.
On June 16, 1957, she was married to Everette Brown in Ripley County, Missouri. He passed away March 23, 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Delbert William Brown of Rockford, Illinois, and Lester Edward Brown of Morristown, Tennessee.
Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be Thursday morning, January 13, 2011, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Missouri, with the funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Amity Cemetery.
