Beverly Ann Drane, 76, of Poplar Bluff, MO, departed this life Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born November 23, 1945 in Doniphan, MO, to A.H. “Doc” and Molly Francis (Ponder) Roberts.

 

Beverly worked for and retired from the accounting firm Kraft, Miles, and Tatum. Beverly was an avid Three Rivers Raiders Basketball fan and enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. She liked to spend an afternoon fishing and relaxing. She also liked to cross stitch. Beverly was of the Methodist faith.

 

On September 4, 1964, Beverly married Gerald Drane in Doniphan. He survives. Also surviving is a brother, Charles “Chuck” Roberts of Jackson, MO, and two grandchildren, Rylan Andrew and Kendra Grace Drane.

 

Beverly was preceded by a son, Jason Drane, and sister, Susan Kenley.

 

Visitation will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 2, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Hunt-White Memorial Gardens.
