Obituary of Virginia Sue Milller

Virginia Sue Miller, 86, of Doniphan, MO, passed from this earth March 20, 2022 in Poplar Bluff, MO. She is the daughter of Otis Lynn and Eulalia “Bell” Wallace. She was born January 13, 1936 at Pine, MO.

 

The focus of her life was God and family. She was always very active at Oak Ridge Church of God where she attended faithfully until she no longer could due to health reasons. Virginia also enjoyed her chickens, flower gardening, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and puzzles.

 

In 1954 she married the late James Miller at Alton, MO. She chose to live out her life as a loving wife to her husband of 55 years. During this time James and Virginia became the parents of five boys, James David, deceased as an infant, Richard Gene, Jimmie Duane and late wife, Donna, of Doniphan, Terry Lee and wife, Dinah, of Wilderness, MO, and Danny Lynn and wife, Geneva, of Doniphan. Her life was filled with joy anytime she could be around her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Joshua Miller and wife, Jamie, of Paragould, AR, Angie Fowler and husband, Josh, their children, Katelynn Melson and husband, Logan, and Ashlynn Fowler, all of Doniphan, April Trantham and husband, Chris, their children, Seth and Cole Trantham, of Alton, MO, Daniel Miller of Doniphan, Curtis Miller and wife, Kara, and their children, Stella and Myles Miller of Malden, MO.

 

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her stepmother, Viola Wallace.

 

Visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Cemetery.
