Obituary of Janice Marie Redden

Janice Marie Redden, 76, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, February 19, 2022. She was born September 6, 1945 in Hayti, MO to the late James and Sylvia (Handley) Melton. Janice enjoyed crocheting and quilting, making her violets thrive, and loving on her family.

 

On October 27, 1963, Janice married Harold Redden in Hayti, MO. He survives. Also surviving are her daughters, Cheryl (Jeff) Brasser, Karen (Ed) Tower, Lisa (Scott) Williams, and Michelle (Scott) Thompson; sisters, Teresia (Tom) Bardol and Linda Melton; a brother, Eddie (Micki) Melton; grandchildren, Nicholas Brasser, Keshia (Roger) Stone, Eddy Tower, Codi Williams, Alex Williams, Keith (Christine) Walker, Richie Walker, Mikayla (Roger) Clements, Samuel Thompson, Airyz Thompson, Gavin Thompson, and Thea Thompson; and great-grandchildren, Sadie Clark, Isaac Clark, Beau Wooldridge, Damien and Artemis Lowe, Edmund Lowe, Gideon Williams, Paityn and Beckett Stone, Ayden and Londyn Luse, Aden Walker, Aubri, Amelia  and Jocelyn Clements, Blake Brasser, and Bently Brasser.

 

In addition to her parents, Janice was also preceded in death by sisters, Peg Ragan and Sue Schuermann, and her brothers, Bill Melton, Allen Melton, and Donald Melton.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
