Patricia Ann Hemphill, 83-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was born October 13, 1938 in Caruthersville, MO to the late Jeff and Lucille (Tarlton) Allen. Pat had worked as an operator on the assembly line at Briggs and Stratton. She loved being active and being around other people. Work was rewarding for her. She took pleasure in the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her four sons, Robert Lawrence Mitchell of Caruthersville, Joseph Michael (Ann) Mitchell of Williamsville, Phil Anthony (Martha) Mitchell of Conway, MO, and Charles Jay (Mikera) Hemphill, II, of Doniphan, MO; two sisters, Kathy Allen of Poplar Bluff, MO and Betty Blagg of Carthage, MO; and her brother, Johnny Allen of Pevely, MO; as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Margaret Julian, and her brothers, Jerry, Terry, Berry, and Leon Allen.
A Memorial Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 18, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to share stories during the service.
