Earl Phieldon Swift, 78, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday December 30, 2011, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Swift was born September 10, 1933, in Bardley, MO, to the late Jesse and Belle Irene (York) Swift. He retired from the timber industry as. Mr. Swift enjoyed fishing and served in the U.S. Army.
On February 18 1956, he married Evelyn Molens, she proceeds him in death July 1985.
She is survived by daughters; Debbie (Carl) Proehl & Donna (Mike) Sappington both of Doniphan and Dena (Jeff) Rousan of Ellsinore and one son Gene (Pam) Swift of Van Buren, MO; one sister Margie Mitchell of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren-Tabitha, Tara, Carla, Cord, Cody, Coutney, Kristyn & Aaron.
Mr. Swift was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two sisters Hazel & Elsie; four brothers Bob, Ernest, Homer & Arvel.
Visitation will begin Saturday December 31, 2011 from 5-8 pm with the Funeral being Sunday January 1, 2012 at 1 pm with Bro. Ben Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Doniphan City Cemetery.
