Carl Frederick Enlow, Sr, 75, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, December 25, 2011, at his residence in Doniphan.
Mr. Enlow, son of the late Horace and Allie (Johnson) Enlow, was born June 5, 1936, in Jackson, Mississippi. He was a retired veteran of United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed sharing the Bible with his family.
He was married to Verleen Allen at Gainesville, Georgia, on February 1, 1955. She preceded him in death on June 12, 2000.
Mr. Enlow is survived by two daughters, Shelia Thompson of Fairdealing, Missouri, and Diane Parker of Ashland City, Tennessee; one son, Frederick Enlow, Jr., of Mt Airy, Georgia; two sisters, Christine Kern of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Juanita Gray of Buxton, North Carolina; and two brothers, Marvin and Horace Enlow.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby Enlow.
A graveside service will be held at Doniphan City Cemetery on December 29, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. with full military honors. The Edwards Funeral Home of Doniphan is in charge of the arrangements.
