Obituary of Mary Uiva Stufflebeam

Mary Uiva Stufflebeam 73, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Wednesday, September 29, 2021. She was born April 5, 1948 to the late William M. and Alice (Abbott) Stufflebeam in Doniphan. Mary enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest. She enjoyed outdoor activities with her favorites including fishing, camping, gardening, and working in the yard. She liked to do things around the house. Mary found pleasure in watching animals such as deer, squirrels, and birds as they would play or roam in the yard. She would listen to the birds as they sang. It was rewarding to watch her flowers and garden grow as they would begin to pop out of the ground and flourish. Mary cherished time spent with her family and loved ones. Surviving are her brothers, Andrew Stufflebeam and Hank Stufflebeam; half-brothers, Eli Cora, Lloyd Cora, and Jimmy Cora; nephews, Freddie Whitaker, Johnnie Lyles, Bryant Brooks, and James (Magen) Whitaker; and nieces, Marie (Bill) Wallace, Sheila Nance, Linda Simpson, Barbara Brown, and Connie Brooks; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her half-brother, Randy Cora, and half-sisters, Violet Wallace and Audrey Whitaker. Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 4, 2021 beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Elizabeth Cemetery.
