Obituary of Theresa Jane Wooldridge

Theresa Jane Wooldridge, 73 -year-old resident of Fairdealing, MO, departed this life Sunday, August 22, 2021 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. She was born August 31, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to the late Reverend Fendel and Dorothy Mae (Crockett) Hall. Theresa had retired after 30 years with the Forest Service where she was a Support Services Specialist, serving as an administrator who helped everyone in the office, coordinated programs, and made things run smoothly. Theresa began her career as a secretary for United Farm Agency in the early 70s working alongside her husband, John, who was a real estate agent. She was a sweet, thoughtful, and generous person. She was a Godly example. God, family, and friends were important to her. Theresa attended Neelyville Pentecostal Church with her family. She loved music and played the piano in church for many years. She would sing at any opportunity with many groups in church and with family. Theresa was very patriotic. She learned at an early age the importance of our freedom due to her father serving in the United States Army. On December 19, 1964, Theresa married John Wooldridge in Doniphan at West Point Church. He survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Lisa (Jack) Wooldridge-Stull of Harviell, MO; two grandchildren, Tiffany (T.J.) Penrod of Poplar Bluff, MO and Kaci Stull of Neelyville, MO; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Penrod, Trevor Penrod, and Paisley, McElhaney; her sisters, Della (Bobby) Gentry of Harrisburg, IL , Connie (Ken) Evans of Doniphan, and Elaine (Dwayne) Meadors, also of Doniphan; and two brothers, Lendel (Linda) Hall of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Ronnie (Erma) Hall of Poplar Bluff; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home on Friday, August 27, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at noon with Brother Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery in Randolph County, AR. For your safety and the safety of others, the family requests that you wear a mask to the services.
