Susan Ann Miller, 88, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.
Mrs. Miller, daughter of Frank and Margaret (Schroeder) Filarski, was born December 5, 1923, in Doniphan, Missouri. She was a life-long resident of Ripley County. Mrs. Miller enjoyed gardening, being outside and listening to Three River Raiders Basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball on the radio. She was a member of St. Benedicts Catholic Church.
Surviving are three daughters; Sharon Miller and Diane Miller, both of Doniphan and Nancy Miller and friend, Jason Vanderpool, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and one brother, Edward Filarski of El Paso, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Filarski, three sisters, Helen Lamar, Frances Logan and Virginia Zamenski, and three brothers, Louis Filarski, Martin Filarski and Frank Filarski, Jr.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning, December 17, 2011, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Doniphan with Father Joseph officiating. Burial will be in the Pulaski Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
