John Lee Mullins, 93-year-old resident of Gatewood, MO, departed this life Thursday, March 11, 2021. He was born July 19, 1927 in Omaha, VA to the late Oxford and Sally (Yates) Mullins.
John was a machinist and had served as Bay County Florida Commissioner for eight years. He was of the Baptist faith. John had served in the United States Navy during WWII.
John married Linda Mullins. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2019. He was also preceded in death by several of his brothers and sisters.
John leaves behind four sons, Tommy Mullins, Steve (Karen) Mullins, Phillip (Karen) Mullins, and Johnathan Mullins; two stepsons, Danny and Duane Barrand; five grandchildren; and three brothers, Frank (Pat) Mullins Jack (Rachel) Mullins, and Joe (Betty) Mullins; and two sisters, Dee and Esther; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
