Obituary of Georgia Webb

Georgia Annabelle Webb, 93, of Grandin, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan, Missouri.
Mrs. Webb, daughter of Pleasant F. and Ida Bell (Sullivan) Wynn, was born November 9, 1918, in Grandin. She had originally worked at a factory in St. Louis and was later employed as a cook at the Grandin School. Mrs. Webb enjoyed crocheting and making dresses for the granddaughters. She was a Sunday School teacher at the Good Hope Church.
On September 5, 1936, she was married to Herbert Andrew Webb at Doniphan. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2001.
Surviving are one daughter, Ida Anita Quinton of Grandin; one son, Sonny Webb of Doniphan; and 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Ina Mae Webb, two grandsons, Terry Webb and Steve King, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation for Mrs. Webb will be Thursday, December 8, 2011, beginning at noon in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Pete Joplin officiating. Burial will be in McRone Cemetery near Grandin.
