Virgil D. “Sam” Stidham, Jr., 52-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born February 20, 1968 in St. Marys, MO to the late Virgil D. Stidham, Sr. and the late Loraine (Stevens) Stidham.
Sam was an automotive mechanic and enjoyed NASCAR and dirt track racing. He also liked to spend time hunting. Sam was an enthusiastic fan of the band, KISS, and would passionately share his love of their music with others.
Surviving are his sister, Maryjane Payne of Doniphan; two nieces, Sheri Chaligoj and Nicki Marler; one nephew, David Chaligoj; and special friends, Shane Robertson and Boomer and Georgeanne.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
