Carol Jean Mills, 61, departed this life Friday, December 18, 2020 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO. She was born March 13, 1959 in Winfield, MO to Teddy Ray Whitlow and Shirley Jane Roam. Carol enjoyed fishing, spending time on the river, and being with her friends.
Surviving are her children, Aaron Lee Mills of Fairdealing, MO, Michael Eugene Cates of Scott City, MO, Shirley Mae Black of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Andrea Jean Vance of Grandin, MO; sisters, Karen Burgin of Van Buren, MO and Jamie Dawn Shaffer of Ellsinore, MO; brothers, Kevin Whitlow of Poplar Bluff, MO, Steve Davis of Danvers, IL, Jeffrey Black, of Ellsinore, MO, and Dale Monroe Black of Doniphan; and three grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joseph Whitlow.
A graveside service will be Monday, December 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery.
