Betty Louise Haywood Janes, 85-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Current River Nursing Center. She was born June 28, 1935 in Doniphan, MO to the late Bill McGonigal and Helen Louise (Vance) Bear. Betty was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by two sons, Landy and Wayne Haywood; her sister, Linda Welker; one brother, Gary Bear; one grandchild, Angie Haywood; and a nephew, Jody Arnold.
Surviving are her brother, Larry Bear of NY, her caregiving grandson, Mike Haywood, as well as her other dear grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Doniphan City Cemetery with Pastor George Arnold officiating.
