Alfred James Johnson, 79-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born October 21, 1941 in Alton, MO to the late Orb and Irene (Harvill) Johnson.
Alfred was an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
On September 16, 1960, Alfred married Virginia Dianne Johnson. She preceded him in death on August 24, 2020.
Surviving are his children, Theresa (Gene) Buchanan of Fairdealing, Kenneth (Johnna) Johnson of Doniphan, David Johnson, also of Doniphan, and Chad Wilson of Dexter, MO; his sister, Margie Johnson of IL; a brother, Bill Johnson of GA; and 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Alfred was also preceded in death by one sister, Shirlene Johnson.
