Obituary of Jerry Albert Meinz

Jerry Albert Meinz, 75 year old resident of Ripley County, departed this life on Friday, November 27, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Meinz, son of the late James and Stella (Hurley) Meinz was born November 25, 1945. He was a retired school bus driver from the Doniphan R-1 School district after 32 years of dedication. After retirement Jerry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren teaching them about the outdoors and farm life. He also enjoyed gardening, tinkering, and socializing with his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Genevieve and many other beloved family members.
Surviving are sisters Evelta Pearce and Barbara Meinz, grandchildren Patricia Limbaugh, Theresa (Jason) Blackburn, Amy (Larry) Palmer, Elizabeth (Brian) Schroeder, James (Joanna) Wilson, Steven (Jill) Litviak, and Mike (Tracy) Litviak; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Beaver Dam Catholic Cemetery on Tuesday December 1 at 10 AM.
