Charlene Borth was born December 28, 1935 and passed away on October 17, 2020.
Charlene married Roy Borth on April 8, 1954 In Madison, IL. They were married for 56 years when Roy passed away on December 29, 2009.
She is survived by two of her three children, Chuck (Terri) Borth of Maryville, IL and Ron (Susan) Borth of Saint Jacob, IL. She has three grandchildren, Amy (Danny) Wells, Jason (Stephanie) Borth, and Karen Widding. She also has five great-grandchildren, Parker Borth, Reese Borth, Lincoln Wells, Sheli Widding, and Dalton Widding. Charlene is also survived by one brother, Ervon Tillman of Doniphan, MO.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bell (Warren) Tillman, her brothers and sisters, Pearl, May, Perry, Lloyd, Floyd, Sylvia, John, Elva, Ellie, and Leamon. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Hart.
Charlene loved her family, reading books and her Bible. She enjoyed writing poems and making quilts for her children and grandchildren.
Charlene and Roy moved back to Doniphan in 1982. They enjoyed spending time with their senior group of friends, dancing, and listening to music. Roy and Charlene were lifetime members of the VFW.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home with the funeral at noon. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
