Obituary of Donny Stahl

Hershel Adawn “Donny” Stahl, 63-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life, Monday, April 27, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Donny was born June 17, 1956 in St. Louis, Mo to Adawn and Annalee (Gromer) Stahl. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Fredrick, whom he married on June 5, 1976 in Ellsinore, MO. He is also survived by his daughters, Missy Arnold and Shelly (Johnny) West, all of Doniphan, MO. Also surviving are his siblings, Gwen (John) Woodland of Las Vegas, NV, Shirley (Bill) Hinzo of Bakersfield, CA, Mike (Karen) Stahl of Plymouth, MI, Reg (Cindy) Stahl of Flatrock, MI, and Shawn (Steve) Peralta of Farmington, MO. Preceding him in death are his siblings, Wayne (Shirley) Stahl and Jerry (Kathy) Stahl. Donny is the grandfather of Harmony, Payton, Kaylen, and Bryndan. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as his best friend, Mark (Charlene) Ladyman of Ellsinore, MO, and special friend, Rachel Rowe of Doniphan, MO. Donny served our country in the United States Army and the Army Reserves. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors and took pride in his garden and enjoyed wrestling, baseball, and college basketball. A quick phone call to him was at the very least a 30-minute call. He was very friendly and outgoing. He never met a stranger. Donny was known as a social butterfly. His family was the most important thing in life to him, and he loved them all. He will be truly missed. He rests with our Lord. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
