Obituary of Brooks Williams

Brooks Williams Brooks Lee Williams, 74, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Williams was born September 20, 1932, at Success, Arkansas. He was in the gravel business and had also worked at Vitronics. Mr. Williams enjoyed fishing and was a life-long member of the Currentview Church of Christ. On November 8, 1952, he was married to Margaret Allen at Pocahontas, Arkansas. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Gary (and Donna) Williams of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Kathy Wooldridge of Doniphan and Tammy (and Kent) Smith of Fairdealing; six grandchildren, Kelli Hall, Dustin Wooldridge, Cameron Smith, Brooke Smith, Ryanne Foret and Jonathan Williams; two great-grandchildren, Brittany Hall and Trystan Hall; one sister, Peggy Watkins of Currentview and one brother, Orbra Williams, Jr. of Currentview. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orbra Williams and Lorene Galemore Williams and one brother, Leon Williams. Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Friday, July 20, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Charles Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at the Pope Chapel Cemetery.
