Carol Ann Ward, 75, departed this life Saturday, March 28, 2020. She was born January 5, 1945 in Ripley County to the late Chester and Mildred (Smith) Cora.
Carol Ann had worked as a homemaker for the Butler County Health Center. She enjoyed country music, especially Conway Twitty.
Carol Ann was married to Ronnie Ward who preceded her in death on May 18, 2013.
Surviving are her sons, Ronnie Ward, Jr. and Albert Ray Brandon, Sr.; her sister, Clara Williams, and her brother, Paul. She was also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ward was also preceded in death by two children, Patricia Ann Brandon and Baby Ward; her grandparents, Bill
Gambling and Goldie; and her sisters, Iva Fay and Karen Coleman.
