Howard William Steen Jr., 82, departed this life on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at his home in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born February 8, 1938 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Howard W. Sr. and Leona (McDowell) Steen.
Howard Jr. loved God and served Him faithfully until his last breath. He enjoyed fishing, playing computer games, making pottery and gardening. He had an amazing green thumb and could grow the most beautiful flowers. He served in the US Navy and the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Rosa Violet (Jones) Steen. He is also survived by his three sons, Howard W. 3rd, James E. (Stacy), and Jeffrey D, (Nancy), as well as seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Bobby Gene and Ronald Leroy Steen.
