Obituary of Brandon Wayne Harris

Brandon Wayne Harris, 37, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life in rural Ripley County, MO. Mr. Harris is the son of Jackie (Payne) Simpson and the late David Wayne Harris. He was born April 5, 1982 in Poplar Bluff, MO. Brandon worked in the timber industry. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed playing with and watching cartoons with the children in the family. He is survived by his mother, Jackie and Ross Simpson and children, Destiny Simpson, David Simpson, Dustin Simpson, and Darbie Simpson; grandparents, John W. and Mary Sue Payne; brothers, Brian Harris, Greg (Amber) Harris, and Jeff (Jessica) Harris, all of Doniphan, and Dallas Harris of Poplar Bluff, MO; a sister, Jenny (Tim) Elliott of Doniphan; and nieces and nephews, Addison, Hannah, Kaleb, Mason, Jared, Rebecca, Rachel, David, Austin, Autumn, and Ethan. Also mourning his passing are a multitude of other family members and special friends. Brandon was preceded in death by his father, David Wayne Harris and grandparents, Barton and Esther (Crook) Webb and Walter (Bud) Harris. Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Simpson Creek Church with Reverend John W. Payne officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
