Obituary of Stanley Dale Thomasson

Stanley Dale Thomasson, 68, departed this life Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born April 25, 1951 in Poplar Bluff, MO to the late Tilden Thomasson and Juanita (Hicks) Thomasson.
Stanley served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a welder and enjoyed fishing and loved animals.
Surviving are his son, Michael Anthony (Kathy) Bennett of Worth, IL; brothers, Ray (Emily) Thomasson of Blytheville, AR, Guy (Tracey) Thomasson of Pevely, MO, and Tilden (Dusty) Thomasson of Doniphan, MO; his sisters, Cindy (J. C.) Smith of Piedmont, MO, Angie Mill of Colorado, Regina (Charley) Davis of Fagus, MO, Kaye Berry Fowler of Poplar Bluff, MO, Sheila Thomasson of Dexter, MO, Lisa (Brian) Keirsey of Qulin, MO, Billie Luaders of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Angel (Charley) Wilson of Alton, MO.
In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his stepmother, Pollianna Thomasson, and his sisters, Deloris Gomez and Denise Eakes.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Hope General Baptist Church with Brother Pete Joplin officiating.
