Lora Cook departed this life Sunday, February 23, 2020 in St. Bernard’s Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. She was born October 12, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to the late Hal and Mildred (Fish) Littrell. Lora was 60 years old.
Lora enjoyed going to church and reading her Bible. She took pleasure and joy in taking care of her family. Her grandbabies were very dear and special to her. She also liked to feed her birds, to go shopping, and to listen to music. Lora attended the Ole Time Pentecostal Church at Neelyville, MO.
On June 9, 1979, Lora married Stanley Ray Cook in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2018.
Surviving are four children: Daniel (Saydie) Cook, Brian Cook, and Stephanie (Garrett) Thomas, all of Doniphan, MO, and Melissa (Nick) Spencer of Jonesboro; her sister, Michele (Keith) Rosson of Doniphan; her brother, Danny (Sherri) Littrell, also of Doniphan; and 9 grandchildren, Jaylyn, Logan, Maverick, and Jaxson Cook, Tyler, Hunter, and Emmett Thomas and Kenzie and Blake Spencer.
Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with pastors Glenda Haven and Floyd Ryles officiating. Burial will follow in the Kinsey Cemetery, Harviell, MO.
