Obituary of Warren Brannum

Warren Lee Brannum, 64, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, October 31, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Brannum, son of Warren C. and Louise (Williamson) Brannum, was born October 25, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a disabled Vietnam veteran. Mr. Brannum was a member of Widow's Son, Masonic Lodge # 369 in Doniphan and # 268 in Naylor, Eagles Aires Member 4443, V.F.W Post #3485 and Naylor American Legion. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had served in Vietnam. Mr. Brannum enjoyed riding his Harley and was active with Bingo at the V.F.W. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He played Santa for children in different organizations. He was married to Carolyn Diane Brannum on January 1, 1966, and she preceded him in death on June 23, 2006. Surviving are one daughter, Dana Nunez-Rios and husband, Steve; one sister, Drexel Schneedle of Granite City, Illinois; and 3 granddaughters, Sylvia, Katalina and Graciana. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister, Peggy Holh. Visitation will be Thursday evening, November 3, 2011, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral will follow on Friday, November 4, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Danny Miller officiating. Burial will be in Pine Cemetery.
