Obituary of Mavis Ruby Gulley

Mavis Ruby Gulley, 90 year old resident of Fairdealing, MO departed this life Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Gulley was born September 23, 1929 in Kennett, MO to the late Lee and Arvie White Bunting. She was a faithful member of the Center Hill Southern Baptist Church, and enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, baking, and cooking her favorite chicken and dumplings.
On January 23, 1946 in Brosely, MO she was married to Raymond Gulley who preceded her in death August 14, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Delbert, Clarence, James, and Blueford Bunting; and one granddaughter Ariana Schumer.
Surviving are children Michael (Carolyn) Gulley, Lucretia (Walter) Jackson, Mary (Mack) Young, and Valerie (Thomas) Schumer, all of Naylor, MO; Sister Sue Carlisle of Festus, MO; brother Glen (Helen) Bunting of Doniphan, MO; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Gulley will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Center Hill Southern Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Burnes officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-8 also at the Church. Burial will be in the Center Hill Cemetery.
