Obituary of Billy Wayne Holt
Billy Wayne Holt (89), a resident of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Monday, December 2, 2019. Mr. Holt was born August 1, 1930 in Manilla, Arkansas to the late Clifford and Pearl (Anderson) Holt.
Mr. Holt retired from General Motors in St. Louis, Missouri in 1982 and was an active member of the United Auto Workers Union (UAW). He moved to Doniphan after retirement where he remained until his death.
He is survived by his three daughters: Paula Holt of Springfield, Illinois; Margaret Walker of Saltillo, Mississippi; and Amy (George) Muehlenberg of Bloomington, Illinois. He has two granddaughters D’Andrea (Ryan) Cron and Kristen (Don Jr.) Crawley, both of Los Angeles, California; and a grandson Michael East of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He also has four great-grandchildren: Don Crawley III; Luc Crawley; Jalen Cron; and Isadora Cron.
Preceding him in death are his sister Ima Gardner; and two brothers Fred Holt and Clarence Artemas (Arky) Holt.
A private family graveside service was held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cemetery in Swifton, Arkansas.
