James "Bob" Edward Morey Sr. 77, of Williamsville, Missouri, died October 29, 2011, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Morey was born July 7, 1934, in Grandin, Missouri. He was a tie purchaser in the lumber industry. Mr. Morey attended Walton General Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to church, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was married to Doris (Gilbreath) in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on March 29, 1954. She survives.
ALso surviving are two sons; James Edward "Jimmy" Morey, Jr., (Lori) and Michael Harold Morey (and friend, Katie), both of Williamsville; four daughters, Sharon (Danny) Sanders, Betty (Sam) Faraone, and Cindy (Don) Boyer, all of Williamsville and Angel (Jason) Sisk of Stringtown, Missouri; one sister, Judy Vance of Doniphan, Missouri; one brother, Charlie Morey (Carolyn) of Ottumwa, Iowa; and 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren .
Mr. Morey was preceded in death by his parents Harold Horace and Mary Ann (Ezell) Morey, one daughter, Janice Elaine Morey, two brothers, Bill and Gene Morey, and one granddaughter, Brianna Kiersten Bradshaw.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. The graveside service in Oak Grove Cemetery will begin Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Doniphan, Missouri.
