I was one of the lucky ones to have had Carolan as a dear and treasured friend for over 40 years. We met in Penasquitos, CA when we became next door neighbors for years. We saw our kids grow up, ourselves grow up and we went through many of lives challenges together, both good and not so good. Through it all, we were always there for each other and our friendship definitely stood the test of time. We took three vacations together and our 'girls getaway' trips were always the best! Carolan was a no nonsense person who would tell you like it was without sugar coating a thing. She was always herself and accepted you the exact way you were, flawed in every way. She was a friend for life and we always could just pick up right where we left off no matter how long it had been since we last talked. Compassionate, loving, and so proud of her son, Gregory. I am missing her right now although she will forever be in my heart and my life as her spirit is now and always will be branded into my heart. Love you Carolan, thanks for so MANY fantastic memories!
