Obituary of Dottie Kayren Jackson
Dottie Kayren Jackson, 72, departed this life Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Thayer, MO. Dottie was born September 8, 1947 in Leapwood, TN to the late Orphis and Mary Pauline Tidwell Martin.
Mrs. Jackson was a beautician, and she also managed hotels.
On September 27, 1996, Dottie married Milburn Jackson in Rockford, IL. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2019.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her children, Bryan Woodard of Chicago, IL and Dennis Woodard of Corning, AR; her sisters, Juanita Deen, Mary Ruth Hackworth, Carla Martin Medlock-Jones, Pat Strahorn, and Judy Torpon; and her brothers, Charles Martin, Tim Martin, and Jamie Martin. Also surviving are granddaughters, Katelynn Belcher and Meghan West.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Dottie was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Martin and A Dell Martin.
Visitation for Mrs. Jackson will be Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Kennett, MO.
