Obituary of Hazel Lorene Conn
Hazel Lorene Conn, 80, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in Barnes-Jewish Hospital after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Ripley County. Hazel was born November 5, 1938 in Doniphan, MO to the late Charles Fred and Rhoda Leusenda Wilder Sisco.
Hazel is survived by her sons, Tommy, Woody, and Ronny Conn, all of Doniphan, MO; two daughters, Cindy Conn of Doniphan, MO and Barbara Buckhanan of Stanton, MO; one brother, Bud Sisco of Doniphan, MO; and one sister, Beulah McKnight of Benton, MO. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchidren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many, many friends from the Doniphan community and surrounding area.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Bertha, Edna, Juanita, and Linda, three brothers, Lewis, Ray, and Johnny; two sons, Donny and David of Doniphan, MO; three grandchildren, Chad, Bobbie Jean, and Ashley; and one great-grandchild, Kimberly Michelle.
Visitation for Mrs. Conn will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Ponder, MO with Randy Conn officiating.
