Barbara Lee Collier, 69 year old resident of Doniphan, Missouri, died October 26, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Collier was born October 13, 1942, in Biggers, Arkansas, to the late Cecil and Nettie (Bowers) Hampton. She was a housewife and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved spending time with her family, her grandchildren and playing card games. On October 10, 1964, at Reyno, Arkansas, she married Mr. Joe Collier. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1996. Surviving are one daughter, Donna and (Ronny) Conn of Doniphan; one son, Danny Fennell of Tipton, Missouri; one step-son, Kenneth Collier of Pensacola, Florida; one step-daughter, Jane Wiegert of New Florance, Missouri; three brothers, Earl Hampton of Advance, Missouri, and Ronnie Hampton and Cecil Hampton, Jr., both of Doniphan; one sister, Helen Orick of Doniphan; two grandchildren, Brittiny Conn and Traviss (Monique) Conn; and three great-grandchildren, Joenes Conn, Kirsten Conn and Logen Conn; seven step-grandchildren, Theresa Lagarce, Eric Farkas, Nicholas DeLeon, Tony Deluca, Phillip Deluca, Kory Collier and Katie Collier; and four great-grandchildren, Austin and Hayley Lagarce and Jacob and Logan Farkas. Mrs. Collier was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Rev. Gene Paul Hampton and Bill Hampton, two sisters Mary "Maggie" Wilkerson and Joyce Lancaster, and one step-daughter, Gail Deluca. Visitation will be 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Saturday, October 29, at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Graveside services will be 1 PM Saturday, October 29, at Johnston Cemetery in Reyno AR with Bro. J.W. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnston Cemetery.
