Joy Ann Smock, age 72, of Harviell, MO left her earthly life to be with the Lord on August 14, 2019. She passed away peacefully at Oakdale Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff MO. She was the daughter of the late Calvin and Jean Smock.

She enjoyed spending time with her dog, loving the outdoors, and going to church with friends. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Jean Smock.

 Joy is survived by her brother, Tom (Jane) Smock; nephew, Chad (Jill and children) Smock; niece, Heather (Brian and son) Oles,; and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins, and close friends, Ron (Melanie) Hill and children.

Joy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin at 10 AM followed by an 11 AM funeral service at Edwards Funeral Home, 606 Walnut Street, Doniphan, MO on Tuesday the 20th of August 2019 with Pastor Ronnie Payne officiating. Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Fairdealing, MO following the service.
