Obituary of Winfred Charles Williams

Winfred Charles Williams, 76-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, August 5, 2019 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Williams was born December 8, 1942 in Pine, MO to the late Fred and Eleta Esteleen Whitwell Williams. 

Winfred was a retired schoolteacher. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving around in the woods, traveling West and visiting National Parks. Mr. Williams was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Missouri National Guard.

On October 15, 1966, Winfred married Linda Williams in Oxly, MO. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2007.  Mr. Williams was also preceded in death by two brothers, Maxie and Wayne Williams.

Winfred is survived by one daughter, Krisha Williams of Little Rock, AR; one son, Bryan Williams of Memphis, TN; and two brothers, Eugene Williams of Barnhart, MO and Harold Williams of Doniphan.

Visitation for Winfred will be Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jared Baker officiating. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Hunt-White Memorial Gardens
